Benzemul lotion is used to treat scabies and body lice by targeting their nervous system, effectively killing lice and mites.
Scabies can sometimes be mistaken for dermatitis or other skin conditions. It is usually diagnosed by identifying mite burrows, often found between fingers, on wrists, or in the genital area, breasts, palms, or soles of the feet. These burrows may be up to 1 cm long but can be hidden by scratching.
