This particular IV set is 265cm in length. It incorporates a vented drip chamber with micron filter, a non-return valve, a roller clamp with IV tube holder, 2 x needleless valve ports for injection, and a rotating male luer at the distal tip.

Clinical placement of the needless ports facilitates user friendly ‘J-loop’ fixation (as required) to the hand, wrist, arm or other, with room to move for the anaesthetist or clinician, at the distal injection port.
