Mepitel is a silicone wound contact dressing with Safetac technology, designed to protect both the wound and the skin. It prevents outer dressings from sticking to the wound, minimizing trauma and pain. Clinically proven for a wide range of wounds including skin tears, burns, ulcers, and surgical incisions, Mepitel can be used in conjunction with Mesorb or Mextra Superabsorbent for high-exudate wounds and Tubifast fixation.
Mepitel promotes undisturbed wound healing and cost-effective treatment. It can remain in place for up to 14 days without drying out or causing discomfort, allowing for continuous wound inspection due to its transparency.
