The ProPulse is a cost-effective, easy-to-use and easy-to-clean device for effective ear wax removal for General Practices. Earwax, or cerumen, is produced naturally and with some people, it can build up over time blocking the canal, which results in hearing loss and sometimes infection. An ear irrigator works by pumping water behind the ear wax so it can flush out all the debris making the ear canal clean. The ProPulse® G5 Ear Irrigator has been designed with both the patient and the clinician in mind. Examples of the ergonomic improvements include the new handle design which makes it easier to remove the QrX™ tip.
The Propulse® Ear Irrigator is intended to:
- Assist in removing earwax and non-absorbent foreign objects from the ear canal.
- Remove discharge, cerumen or debris from the ear canal by irrigation with warm water.

- Correctly treat otitis externa where the meatus is obscured by debris.
- Improve the flow of sound into the ear, where impacted wax is the cause of hearing loss.
- Examine the external auditory meatus and the tympanic membrane.
